New blog series - Creating Order out of Chaos by Alison Day

Welcome to a new blog series!

Yeah that’s about all I know about it right now! LOL! It all started when I was tidying my Scrap Cave. I’d cleared off my desk, hung my blinds (that had been on the floor after a repainting job a couple years ago – gulp), moved my laptop from the dining room table back onto my desk, and ruthlessly gone through all my mixed media supplies to get rid of anything that was now old and yucky (mostly my Gelatos – sniff). And then I looked at my floor and the giant box of unsorted layouts ….

Why not dive into those? Should be a piece of cake!

Well, this series will allow you to follow my adventure as I finally find homes for layouts I’ve had in this box for years. I kid you not. Years!

Summer Scrappin’ Video Series

Happy Monday!

I am so pleased to be participating in a video scrapbooking series hosted by an old DT friend of mine, Audrey Yeager. She put a call out into one of my Facebook groups and I was more than happy to help her.

She is posting 21 layouts over the course of June, July and August. That’s 21 inspirational ideas to help you scrap your summertime photos! And that’s just from her. She’s got special guests helping her each day so that makes 42 inspirational ideas! But wait, there’s more! Some days (like today) she’s got a couple special guests. Now how many inspirational ideas are there?

Another Kit Bites the Dust

Happy Saturday everyone!

Today I am sharing the last of my posts about the June 2018 card kit from Simon Says Stamp. I have not shared everything here on my blog so I thought I’d compile a round up for you.

Cards for Days!

Wondering what I’ve been up to this month? The blog has been quiet, I know, but I promise I have been creating.

LOAD518 was going on and while I did not achieve a layout every single day, I did do quite a few. And filmed them too. You can take a look at all my layouts in my Flickr gallery here and my YouTube videos on my channel in this playlist.

And then there’s been all the card making …

Do you follow me on Instagram? If so, you’ve no doubt noticed a lot of cards lately. That’s because I took up The 100 Day Project and decided to make a card a day for 100 days. I’ve missed a couple of days here and there but I’ve got 55 days of cards so far and I’m not stopping. Technically, with the 6 cards I made for this post, I’m all caught up and even ahead of the game a bit but … that’s not really the point of the exercise, is it?

Which brings me to the point of this post … finishing my May 2018 card kit from Simon Says Stamp.
