Welcome to another Scrapping Our Stash blog hop!
We took a couple months off during the chaos that is late November, and December, but we are back with more inspiration to help you bust through that ever growing scrapbook paper stash!
You should be arriving from Lee-Anne’s blog but if not, have no fear. The entire hop list is at the end of my post to help you out.
Today I am sharing a cute little treat holder made from a toilet paper roll that is perfect for Valentine’s Day. If you’re super ambitious, you’ve got enough time to make one for every kid in your child’s classroom … or just your own children. As I will be doing!
Here’s what you need to make one: Continue reading
Welcome to the weekend! Woot! Woot!
Weekends are for playing, yes? For me, that means playing with paper and glue.
A couple weeks ago I added my Silhouette Cameo into the mix and created some super cute 3-D items. Check them out.
I thought I’d throw my hat into the ring for Lori Whitlock’s Design Team Call so went to the Silhouette Design Store and downloaded these super cute projects to try. I know that owl goody bag is going to show up at a birthday party soon!
Here’s each project. Continue reading
It’s Saturday which – now that we don’t have swimming lessons in the mornings – means Chore Day.
Does anyone else hate motivating their children to help out with the house cleaning? Fancy chore charts aside, somehow ‘motivating’ always turns into ‘yelling really loudly until your children get off their lazy butts to help out’!
Things were going about as smoothly as could be expected this morning, until my almost 12 year old came home. Sigh. She’s not a teen yet but holy moley she can rampage with the best of them! Thinking of teenagers got my creative juices going so I created a little something for my Esty Shop. Continue reading
Welcome to another Make It Monday!
You may be coming here from Lisa’s site where she is Springing forward with a fun handmade embellishment. If you are starting here then at the end of this post I will have a link to another site where you can continue your journey until you circle back to Lisa.
A couple weeks ago I shared how I like to use my Silhouette Cameo to create custom birthday party invitations and decor – you can see that post here. Today I want to share my best party tips and some photos from my eldest’s Hawaiian themed party. Continue reading
Welcome to another edition of Make It Monday! You are maybe joining us from my friend Alice from Scrapbook Wonderland. She shares 5 Practical Tips for Using Multiple Patterned Papers on a Scrapbook Layout. Welcome! I hope you enjoy all of our inspiration today.
I’ve had the pleasure of being on the Creative Team for Amanda Robinson Studios for a while now and after a little hiatus, we are back with a new Team Coordinator, new cut files for your inspiration and, coming soon, new cut file and printable bundles!! If you have a digital die cut machine like a Silhouette, I encourage you to check out Amanda’s shop. She’s got super cute, trendy and usable files for sale as well as a ton that are 100% FREE.
Yesterday she posted a FREE file called Egg Hunt and I got to play with it beforehand.
One of my favourite posts as a Designer for Practical Scrappers is when we are asked to create something inspired by a pin we saw on Pinterest. Today we’ve got some great Fall ideas for you from our boards.
I went about this a bit backwards this time. I knew what I wanted to make so went looking for how I should make it. Usually I just surf Pinterest til the inspiration light bulb goes off! I found a number of images and took inspiration from all of them. Instead of showing you my inspiration pin, I’ve got an inspirational collage for you today. Just click on the image to be taken to my Pinterest Board.
