Happy Friday! Today’s giveaway can be found here.
Every month I look forward to working with Liz Chidester’s sketches for Practical Scrappers and this month was no different. Here’s my layout.
I used some of the new Stampin’ Up papers that I won recently. Most of the papers are from I Am Me with the dark blue grid pattern coming from Soho Subway. I also dug into my Gossamer Blue kit for the embellishments and the stamping (except for the little hearts at the end of the journaling – those are old Bella Blvd stamps).
Here’s Liz’s sketch.
And here are some shots of my details.
Mixing larger Thickers with smaller tiled letter stickers adds interest to the title as well as helping use up some of my stash. The reason each word is a different colour? Stash Depletion! I could have found it frustrating that I couldn’t create a more colour uniform title but for this I decided to embrace all the colour in my back ground paper through my letter stickers!
Some stamping and little details help keep the focus on the photos.
Adding a similar cluster here keeps everything cohesive. The ‘did you get the memo?’ stamp actually works here as an addition to the title.
Thanks for stopping by today. Be sure to pop over to Practical Scrappers and see what the rest of the Design Team came up with. And don’t forget to enter in to win my giveaways. I’ve got 7 that you can enter. You can find them HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE, HERE.
Good luck!
