Welcome to the April Scrapping Our Stash Blog Hop!! We are so glad you could hop with us today!
Let’s get started! You should have arrived from Lisa’s site but if not and you want to start at the beginning, head on over to the Practical Scrappers blog.
Today I am sharing how I turned those bits of paper you have left over from using your die cutting machine, into a beautiful background for a layout.
If you follow me on Facebook or Instagram then you have already seen this …
I created a video which walks you through how I take this to a finished layout. I really dug into my stash of older papers, scraps, gems and journaling tags for this! Hope you enjoy watching me work.
How was that? Did you learn anything new? Leave me a comment with your biggest take away. I’d love to know how I can help you further.
Here are some close up shots of the layout and its details.
Little tags and labels like these ones from Elle’s Studio, Chic Tags and Studio Calico are perfect for layering into small clusters. They help bring attention to your focal photo and have just enough room for small pieces of information like the date.
Don’t be afraid to mix up your letter stickers to get exactly the title you want!
Adding gems to some of the balloons in this journaling card is a fun detail!
I love the mix of gems, pearls and layered butterflies I achieved!
Thanks for hopping with us today – here is the full Blog Hop list! Have fun!!
