I have taken many classes through Big Picture Classes and loved every single one. When I started it was called Big Picture Scrapbooking but they have expanded their offerings so much since then that the name needed to change to reflect it. You can learn anything from how to start, how to organize, multi media techniques, how to take better photographs, how to create embellishment clusters …. you name it, they got it!! Want to know how many classes I’ve taken since 2009? Here’s a screen shot of my classes list.

Day 17 – Scrapbook Throwdown!!
Who doesn’t love a good throwdown? Well, two of my ScrapHappy and Crafting Your Biz buddies are hosting one tomorrow.
Kelli from Use It Scrapbooking and Gina from Messtaken Identity have set out a challenge to try doing things differently from how they normally create. Kelli is more like me with more stash than time or stories to tell, and Gina loves to upcycle things we would normally think of as trash into wondering, useful pieces of art.
Check out this video and meet the contestants.
So, who wants to join in on the fun? Just click HERE!
It all starts tomorrow – Tuesday September 17th at 1PM CDT (that’s 11AM Pacific!). See you there!
Oh, and which team are you one? Use it with Kelli (and me)? Or Upcycle it with Gina?

Day 16 – Another Gift Card Giveaway!
I’ll keep this short and sweet again. I’ve got another $10 gift certificate to Two Peas in a Bucket to give away. To switch things up I thought I’d try using Rafflecopter. The more you do to promote this giveaway, the more chances you get to win! 🙂
Good luck everyone!
Day 15 … Half Way There!!
Today I am going to redirect you to a guest post I wrote for Kelli Panique of Use it Scrapbooking.
Kelli and I met through Lain Ehmann (somehow it always seems to come back to Lain, doesn’t it?) She became one of my biggest fans on my LOAD Flickr gallery and as Lain’s Go To Gal on the Layout a Day site I’ve had the pleasure of communicating with her via email multiple times. She is inspiring to me as a fellow scrapbooker, blogger and Mom trying to make it in this crazy industry. I am so honoured to be allowed to share my voice with her audience today!
She is featuring school themed scrapbooking products and scrapbooks this September in her S is for School feature of the month. I have some half baked school scrapbooks for my girls but for this post I went looking for ways I’d used school themed products on non-school themed projects (some school layouts may have snuck in there too!) So, without further ado, click on the photo below to be taken to my post over at Use it Scrapbooking!
Amanda Robinson Studios is Open For Business
I wanted to let you know that the amazing Amanda Robinson has officially opened her on-line store today. She was super generous in providing a FREE DOWNLOAD to my email subscribers (didn’t get yours? make sure you’re on my list by signing up HERE) and I showed you how I used a couple of her files yesterday. Now it’s your turn to head over to her site, sign up for her newsletter and download your FREE TAGS. While you’re there check out some of the other cut files. At $0.99 – $2.99 they are SO reasonable!! Like this one.

Aren’t these adorable? Doesn’t it make you want to pull out your orange and black and create something spooky? Think I know what I’m going to be doing today!!
Until later, have a great day!
Day 13 – Using Mists
Totally off topic but I’ve just got to say that I LOVE my daughter’s new preschool! I had 4 blissfully quiet hours to myself this morning which allowed me to get so much done! Photo copy several hundred letters to the parents at our school about a new hot lunch ordering program, film a quick video for you all, create a layout, … shower!! Ah! I feel SO much better. I still have to work later and will miss the Welcome Back BBQ at the school but … small victories, right?
Back to the matter at hand.
I received a question about using mists on projects so today I decided to tackle that subject. At least, start to tackle it. There is SO much more I could say but will leave that for future posts. Check out this video for a very quick introduction to the wonderful world of spray mists.
