New week, new sketch up at Let’s Get Sketchy, new layout from me.
I did something a bit different this week. I scrapped an 8.5″ x 11″ layout instead of my usual 12″ x 12″. Sometimes I can create a bigger layout with only one photo but sometimes it just needs to be showcased on a smaller canvas.
Here’s the sketch Team A is working with this week.
It’s a beautiful sketch from our own Jenessa Franco, isn’t it? Lot’s of room to let your creativity flow freely! Layers, misting, fun embellishment ideas … such an easy sketch to work with and make your own. Here are some close ups of my details.
The sketch calls for a long title and when I saw this Dear Lizzy sticker in my stash I knew I could use it as part of that title.
Lots of lovely border strips and a few small details make an easy embellishment cluster here.
So many great word stickers and phrases in my Bella Blvd stash!!
And last but not least, my journaling. The bottom of the page was the perfect spot for my thoughts.

Hey, lady, I’ve been baaaaaad! I haven’t been keeping up with any scrapbooking, blogs, or friends – forgive me!!! I thought I was a subscriber to this new beautiful site, but just realized I’m not! Anyway, just remedied that, so I should be better at staying in touch now. Can’t wait to try out some of your freebies, yay!
