Today I’ve got my next batch of LOAD218 layouts for you to see. Each one has a corresponding process video too.
Enjoy!
Day 4 – Wandlore
Today’s adventure forced a deeper look at the story and I know I have told a different story than I would have because of how the prompt inspired me. It also meant pulling out my newest products. I don’t have anything from the newest collections that were just showcased at Creativation in Arizona last month, but my stash of Glitter Girl products is still new to me so I had fun pulling more of it out for this layout.
Since I’m showing all the close up photos in the video I’ll just leave you with the full layout.
Day 5 -Weasley’s Wizard Wheezes
For today’s adventure I gave up control over my design by using a sketch. I took mine out of the book Scrapbook Page Maps – Sketches for Creative Layouts by Becky Fleck. This book is from 2008 so I could not find the sketch I used on line to share with you. Sorry! Please feel free to scraplift my layout below if you’d like. Just be sure to link back to me!
Day 6 – Our Butterbeer Adventures
I really wasn’t sure I’d get a video up for you to watch. While trying to edit it yesterday I got an error message saying the file was corrupted which panicked me a bit. But today I just calmed myself down and figured out a way to bring you the video! I read off the journalling in the video so rather than trying to turn headstands to read it on your screen, just watch the video! 😉
Day 7 – #4 Privet Drive
And last but not least, the layout from today. I chose the challenge adventure and set my timer for 30 minutes. I really did make this in that time (plus about 10 minutes to pull supplies). It can be done people! The major time saver was having a set of supplies already pulled out for this album so all I had to do was flip through those, not my whole stash. If you’re strapped for time, pulling together a kit of supplies and limiting yourself to just those supplies not only takes you in creative directions you maybe wouldn’t normally think of, it also limits the time you waste searching for that perfect embellishment!
That’s all for now. I can’t wait to see what tomorrow’s adventure will be! If you like my process videos then be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel so you don’t miss out on the next ones!
