Grown Ups Can Water Colour Too

Make it Monday with Alison Day Designs2.png Welcome to another Make It Monday post.

Oh, and welcome to Summer! For those of us up here in the Northern Hemisphere anyway. The sun did greet us today after a gloomy weekend. I take it as a good omen!

Today I am sharing with you my latest adventure.

Water colours!

As you’ll see in this video, I have a super duper expensive set that I’ve been using. Yep, no expenses spared on this making of this blog post! Take a look …

And here are the cards I mentioned at the beginning of my video.

Watercolour Retirement Cards by Alison Day Designs

There are many staffing changes happening at the end of this month at my daughter’s school. These cards are destined for three teachers who are retiring after many years of dedication to our children. I wanted something that would evoke an easy going future. Rainbows seemed appropriate!

The typed sentiment piece is from Pink Fresh Studio. Each card has a different saying on it.

If you are interested in the water brush you can find several different options over at Simon Says Stamp like this one from Ranger. The stamp set came with my June card kit. If you like to make cards then I highly recommend their card kit monthly subscription. I’ve never been disappointed with the kits. Challenged the odd month but never disappointed. Well worth it!

That’s it for today. Thanks for stopping by. Be sure to say hi in the comments below.

Have a great week everyone!

Once the lake season is over and I am home more, I definitely need to clear off my craft table and play with my supplies!

Next season, you’ll need to take some watercolours with you to the lake! How relaxing would that be?!
