Today is a very special day for my family. We are embarking on a cruise!
My husbands parents are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary by treating their children to a Cruise. A Disney cruise no less!

Such a special occasion called for a very special card which I was only too happy to make. It’s not every day you reach such a milestone after all! Your 50th wedding anniversary is called your Golden anniversary so …
I used papers from the Fancy That 6×6″ paper pad by My Mind’s Eye plus golden, glittery enamel shapes by Heidi Swapp. The numbers were die cut from a scrap of gold foil paper using my Stampin’ Up alphabet dies.
It’s a simple design but those gorgeous papers make the card special, don’t you think?
We have already celebrated them with a wonderful dinner at Horizons Restaurant in Burnaby but will be sure to treat them to a special dinner while on board the ship this week too.
So if you need me this week, you’re out of luck! I’m not sure at the time I’m writing this, if I’m even going to take my laptop. And cell service will be spotty at best! It will be a challenge to unplug but I think I may just have to try it.
