Happy Sunday and welcome to September!
I have a rare day off work today so will be spending it like any good Mom … in my scrap room! 🙂 I’ve been totally inspired by all the great questions I got on yesterday’s post so need to get in there and create some awesome content for you!
Today we are continuing the giveaways with a free cut file. This is for email subscribers only so if you’re not on my list you need to go HERE to sign up! Only once you are all signed up will you be given the super secret password and location of ALL my free downloads.
I used the cut file to create this …
and this.
The first uses the standard card sized cut file to create a party invitation. The second uses the 4’x6′ sized cut file to create a card perfect for your Project Life albums or even a postcard type invitation.
Both are super quick and easy to create. The first simply takes the cut out image and pops it up with foam squares onto any standard sized card base. I added the party hat back into its hole and decorated it with neon pink Stickles. I also traced (rather messily – someone needs to go back to tracing school I think!) the letters to make them stand out more.
For the second one I simply used some Heidi Swapp Color Shine spray mist, let it dry, added some pen work then cut it out. If you’re anything like me, you are always looking for quick and easy ideas for birthday party invitations, right? That’s where this cut file can save you hours of work.
Oh, and as an extra bonus, the misted template looks cool too. I may have to incorporate it into a page this month …
Okay, that’s it for me today. Have a super day everyone! I’ll be adding these cut files to the Super Secret page momentarily. If you want them and are not on my mailing list … you know what to do, right? Head on over HERE to sign up. Don’t forget to go to yesterday’s post and leave me a comment with your burning scrappy question. It’ll get you an entry into the GRAND PRIZE Drawing!!
