Happy Saturday everyone! Hope the sun is shining where you live. Today on the SWAT blog we are inspiring you with some layouts featuring summertime activities and sunshine … well, mostly sunshine. 🙂 Confused? My little layout asks the question (that is asked a fair bit in these parts) “Where’s the sun?”
If you’ve already been on the SWAT blog you may notice that this one looks slightly different to the one posted there. I realized after taking, editing and uploading the photos (you’d think I’d have been able to spot it a bit earlier, no?) that I’d forgotten my journaling!!
*face palm*

So I added in my journaling, re-photographed and edited it but wasn’t able to get the new version uploaded to the blog in time. Que sera, sera! Sometimes that happens.
Oh! And if you joined me yesterday I showed you another layout about this same day (see it here) using some of the same supplies. They will eventually sit across from each other in the same album so having a bit of cohesiveness between products is always a good thing!
And now for your details shots.
I am doing the ultimate stash busting here. Combining new products with something that’s been in my stash for a few years now. Love when I can do that!
You are probably getting tired of me waxing poetic about the new Simple Stories I Heart Summer line but here is another of the cute brads from this set. I see that it is sold out now but if you want it as much as I want more (hold me back, people, hold me back!) then you will want to hit the ‘request and notify me’ button.
And finally, my journaling. My Father-in-law requested that we all go to the beach for a picnic on his birthday.
No problem. That’s June 25th, should be nice and warm.

The sun was indeed shining (not that you can really tell from these pictures) but the wind off the water was bitterly cold! We hunkered down as best we could while Grandpa got his play time in with my youngest in the water and then we begged him to head inland and out of the wind.
