Welcome to another Make it Monday!
I promised I’d share the cards I made while on the Disney Cruise so that is what I’m doing today. As you may have guessed from the title, I did not make a ton of cards – too much fun being had on board to craft! But hey, every little bit helps when you’ve got two Christmas markets rapidly approaching and a dwindling stock of cards to sell at them, right?

As far as where I got crafty, here’s the set up in my cabin.

And finally, the cards:
Letting the patterned paper do most of the work here. I added stamped leaves, a sentiment, some strips of patterned paper and finished with some splashes of Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Gold Lame.
For this one I stamped the flower image and the two leaf images onto a scrap piece of patterned paper and cut them out. I arranged them over the sentiment banner, popping up the flower for dimension. As a finished touch, I added Wink of Stella in clear glitter to the flower, splashes of the Gold Lame Color Shine to the card, and a large yellow toned gem to the centre of the flower to coordinate with the yellow stamping.
Two stamped flowers in two different colours of ink (Steel Blue and Thistle) were the starting point for this card. The sentiment banner needed a bit more dressing up so I added the small stamped and punched flowers in Goldenlocks for contrast. Each small flower then got a small gem in the centre to add some sparkle.
The last card is perhaps the most simple. Three stamped flower images coloured in using the enclosed water brush pen and the Steel Blue ink. Gems added to the flowers finishes off the card nicely.
