Today over on Practical Scrappers we are sharing some projects inspired by pins we liked on Pinterest. While trolling for ideas I came across an amazing looking cake made from … wait for it … a watermelon! Seriously!! Check it out.
Don’t get too excited. I did NOT make a paper version … or even a real version … but I just wanted to give you a taste of the types of things you can find on Pinterest.
For my project I chose the following image and used it like a sketch to create a card.
Here’s my card. Can you see the inspiration coming through?
I used a piece of vellum as my base layer and used embossing powder to make the greeting stand out.
The embossing warped the vellum a bit but that’s okay with me. I like the texture it adds.
