I’m Calling it and Moving On … I Think

I feel like I’ve been using the same set of supplies forever! It’s only been since the end of February … maybe that is “forever” in the world of scrapbooking? LOL!

But with these next few layouts I think I am ready to call it a day on my giant Kit #2 and gather some new supplies for the next part of Shimelle’s class. If you missed my previous layouts using this kit you can see them here, here, and here.

Layout #14 – Welcome Surprise

Here is the sketch from the Paper Issues challenge:

And my finished layout.

Not only was this for the Keep it Sketchy challenge over at Paper Issues, I was also able to answer Shimelle’s 30 Days of Random challenge by using those zebra print thickers. I am pretty sure there are bonus points for that! No? Well, there should be! LOL!

Layout #15 – Happiness is in Bloom

The next Paper Issues challenge I completed was a live one called Bossy Scrapper. Here is the list of supplies we were to pull for this challenge.

And my layout:

Most of those 6 3×4″ pieces of patterned paper are covered by the photo but I’m fairly sure that’s not really the point. And doing so actually keeps this layout more to my style anyway – highly layered and full of colour and pattern.

Seeing some of my supplies start to get used up is so satisfying! I finished the package of layered sticker embellishments on this layout and only have about half a sheet of those puffy stickers left. I am more than ready to move on from these supplies and make new pages with a new kit!

But first …

Best laid plans and all that!

Before making another layout with this kit and/or for this album I decided to take a look through both. My remaining kit of supplies, AND the album. My conclusions? Watch this video to find out.

So there’s still some work to be done with this kit for this album. Sigh. Better get cracking then!

Come back on Wednesday to see my progress. For better or worse, I will walk away from this kit and call the album done. That may mean many late hours scrapping, or it may mean this album remains mostly complete … come back on Wednesday to find out.

Until then, have a great week!
