Welcome back!
How is your Wednesday going? My youngest is having her birthday party tonight so I am in full panic mode! Really should not be on my computer but … a promise is a promise and I promised you guys more Clear the Desk layouts! Here goes …
If you missed the first two layouts from my second kit for this class then please check out Monday’s post here.
Layout #8 – Dream Big
Since it’s a new month, there are new challenges over at Paper Issues so I’m diving in with their Scrap Soup Challenge.
Their soup recipe called for 2 patterned papers (I used 4 – one was for all the stamped images that I fussy cut), 3 embellishments (not too sure how many you could consider that I have on this layout but I’m going to say I’ve got 3!), a chipboard title (mine is made up of three chipboard pieces), 6 hearts (I’ve got more than that one here), and stamping (I’ve stamped in the background as well as used stamped and cut pieces as embellishments).
Layout #9 – Coming Full Circle
This was for a the PI Partners Up challenge where Paper Issues and Stuck Sketches worked together and we were to use the sketch by Laura Whitaker that they provided.
I love how this one turned out. That butterfly garland is so fun!
Layout #10 – Wicked Smart
This is the last one I’m sharing for today. This was for the Frame It Up challenge and I also tried to follow the same design Shimelle used in one of her layouts. I (of course) deviated from her design!
But I’m pleased with the final layout and I managed to clear 6 frames from my stash. Win, win, I’d say! I’ve still got a lot of paper and products left in this kit and I’m beginning to doubt I’ll be able to clear it completely from my stash but I’ll give it my best shot!
Okay, back to party prep! It’s all rainbows and unicorns! God help me!!
I’ll be back with more layouts from this kit on Saturday (if I survive the party that is) so stay tuned!
