I have been remiss in posting my Clear the Desk progress so this week will be all about catching you up.
If you missed the first kit I put together for this class, then please check out this post. I also share the first five layouts I made – each with a process video. I did two things with the kit remainders. First I made a card which you can see on this post, and then I left everything on my desk. Well, not actually on my desk, as my desk is quite small, but available to use in subsequent projects for this class.
Which leads me to Kit #2.
I tried to put together a kit of similar size to the first one but honestly couldn’t do it so … when in doubt add more, right? My logic was that I knew I had a lot of photos from a specific event to scrap so a larger kit would go further.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it!
Here are the first two layouts I made from this kit.
Layout #6 – When In Doubt, Arrive In Style
For further inspiration I was playing along with the monthly challenges over at Paper Issues. This one was to use a large title – either large font or a long title. Mine falls somewhere in between!
With the first layout under my belt, I kept going and tackled another Paper Issues Challenge which was to use their Scattered Hearts free cut file.
Layout #7 – Be Mine
Despite the issues with my new, super sticky Silhouette mat, I am pleased with how this turned out.
This layout won’t go into my daughter’s Grad album as it is more for me. I have many other photos of the three of them that I can include in her album.
Okay, I’ve got more layouts to share but you’ll have to come back on Wednesday for those! If you can’t wait then there is a playlist over on my YouTube channel containing all the layouts I’ve completed so far.
Until Wednesday then. Have a great week!
