Make it Monday - pinkWelcome to another Make It Monday!

Today we are sharing our summer memories with you in special list formats. You may be arriving from Kelli’s site where she is showing how old school photos + list journaling = easy scrapbook pages! Gotta love that!

As for me, today I am sharing a layout with … wait for it … 21 photos on it.

Yes, you read that correctly. I said twenty-one photos!

How did I manage it? Check it out.

Big Title Fun

Posted on

Happy Saturday everyone! My kids are going across to Vancouver Island today for a week at “Granny Camp”!

Can I get a “Woot! Woot!”?

I am looking forward to a quiet house, some one-on-one time with my husband and some serious scrapping time! What’s on your agenda for today?

If you’re planning on creating a layout I’d like to share a fun title treatment you can try. This is my last share (at the moment) of the projects made during the Paper Issues Crop in March. Our challenge this time was to use a large title. Either large as in long (multi-word titles can be a lot of fun to create and such a great design element) or large as in big letters. I went for the latter option. Continue reading »

July 2015 Gossamer Blue Kit

Posted on

So very late but as they say, better late than never, right?

I sort of live by that mantra so I’m hoping you agree with me!

My July scrapbook kit from Gossamer Blue arrived while I was away on holiday (an epic 12 day, 3400 km road trip that I’ll be scrapping about this month so watch for those layouts). When we got back I was too distracted trying to finish setting up my newly painted and reorganized Scrap Cave so the box just sat there on my desk. Every now and then I would look longingly at it but I knew I had to open it “on camera” (no sneaks allowed in my books!) Well, I finally stopped playing with my new toys (see this post) and filmed it for you guys.

Here it is.

So far I’ve completed one layout, that I will be sharing with you on Monday, and I have another started on my desk. I picked up some photos yesterday so I’m all set to create up a storm. As always, when they are done they will be uploaded to my Flickr gallery.

Oh, and my August kit is now here so I’m itching to get into that!! Must. Use. July’s. First!

That’s it for today. Have a good Wednesday. I’ll be back tomorrow with a monochromatic card. Even though you’re only using one colour, don’t think it will make your project boring. I’ll show you how to get visual and textural interest with ease!

June 2015 Gossamer Blue Kits

Check out what was in my Gossamer Blue box for June!

As always, any and all layouts made from this month’s kits will be posted to my Flickr Gallery.

I am heading off soon for a ScrapHappy Reunion in Scottsdale AZ (only a mild 43C right now – yikes!) and will be taking this kit plus some of my Gossamer Blue stash with me. Hopefully we get some scrapping done! LOL! I have heard talk of Prickly Pear Margaritas though so … anything could happen!
