Oh it’s been so long since I wrote a Make It Monday post! Have you missed them? I have and I am determined to get back on schedule!
With that being said, today I wanted to share these cute thank you cards for the teacher’s in your lives.
Some of you are already on summer break but up here we’ve got a few more weeks. We seem to be going until the bitter end of June this year! Ugh! The children (and some of the teachers too) are starting to lose focus in the classroom. Hope nobody has anything major planned for June!
This week my friends reminded me about our usual linky party so I’ve got a couple of other sites for you to check out today.
You may have come here from Alice’s site where she is making all your scrapbook dreams come true. Yay! Actually, she’s completely right! LOAD (LayOut ADay) is just around the corner and not only is Alice the Hostess with the Mostest now, but yours truly is one of the featured designers so be sure to check out her post for all the 411!
For my part on today’s hop I am sharing some of my favourite Mother’s Day cards from my archives plus, creating new ones. I’ve got a special kit of goodies coming to me for a contest which means there will be more Mother’s Day cards in my – and your – future! For today though, I’m using my April Simon Says Stamp Card Kit. It’s full of flowery stamps, papers and images which seem pretty perfect for Mom’s all over the world.
Welcome to another Make It Monday here on my blog!
I have been absolutely horrible at getting my fellow Make It Monday blog circle gals organized so I decided to come up with my own graphic for days like today when it’s just me! What do you think? Give me paper and glue and I can come up with something cute 90% of the time but give me pixels and a mouse and … well … let’s just say I’m more of a hands-on kind of gal and leave it at that, shall we?
Moving on …
In my part of the world we are feeling the re-awakening of the world big time. The sun has warmth to it. The trees are turning green again. The grass has been mowed a couple times already. Spring is in full bloom and with it thoughts of summer start to creep in. I know, I know, summer?! But yes, summer!
In honour of that thought, I have made a bright, sunshine yellow card to share with you. Continue reading »
You may be arriving from Kristie’s site where she is sharing all occasion cards without worrying about how many and which sentiments to use! That sounds awesome!
At the end of this post is another link that will let you continue on our creative circle until you’ve seen everyone’s ideas this week.
Today I am getting into the Easter spirit and showing you the cards that will be landing in my Etsy Shop later today. It was totally my plan to have them ready for you to shop when this post goes live but … life, in the form of a massive sinus cold and a basketball team wrap up party at our house put a damper on that plan. Once I boot the kids off to school today and have a good rest, I will get those posted to my shop. For now, please enjoy these new card creations. Continue reading »
You may be arriving here from Karen’s site where she is changing her templates to make new, fresh layouts. Sounds intriguing! If you missed it, simply follow the link at the bottom of this post to circle back to Karen.
Today I am sharing some super cute winter themed cards that I whipped up with the January Simon Says Stamp Card Kit. We do not get much in the way of cold, snowy winters where I live so I must live vicariously through my crafting supplies!
It’s Saturday which – now that we don’t have swimming lessons in the mornings – means Chore Day.
Does anyone else hate motivating their children to help out with the house cleaning? Fancy chore charts aside, somehow ‘motivating’ always turns into ‘yelling really loudly until your children get off their lazy butts to help out’!
Things were going about as smoothly as could be expected this morning, until my almost 12 year old came home. Sigh. She’s not a teen yet but holy moley she can rampage with the best of them! Thinking of teenagers got my creative juices going so I created a little something for my Esty Shop. Continue reading »
